Fondazione ISMU has been continuously committed for many years in a documentation and analysis activity concerning the phenomenon of migrations in its different characteristics, focusing particularly on the territory, both on a national and an international scale.
The monitoring services include:
- Systematization of statistical data collection activity aimed at continuously updating the databank. The database is organized according to three territorial levels: regional, national and international level.
- Construction of synthetic indicators concerning both the amount and the structural characteristics of the foreign population present, and the different associated (demographic, socio-cultural, and economic) phenomena involving it.
- Production of periodical reports on the development of the phenomenon of migration, and in-depth examination of particularly relevant issues.
